2025 Challenge Quilt
"My Favorite Things"
The 2025/2026 Challenge Quilt has been announced! The theme is “My Favorite Things”. We do have a restriction this time. Your quilt is limited to a 64” perimeter. We hope we get lots of quilts and hope to
have a display at the 2026 quilt show. So, get busy and make a little quilt. They are due at the June 2025 meeting. Any questions, please contact Jo Frymire or Nancy Suarez.
The Rules:
1. Fabrics and techniques are your choice.
2.. Perimeters are limited to 64" inches.
3 .A 3" x 5" index card attached to the BACK OF THE QUILT with your NAME and a brief description of your quilt on one side and telephone and/or email address on the other side of the card.
4. Hanging sleeve on the back
5. Quilts to be presented and displayed at our June 2025 guild meeting when our members will vote for their favorite.
6. Quilts to be displayed at various local libraries. If you have a suggestion of other places to display our quilts, let me know and I will look into them.
7. Please supply a dowel for your quilt if it will travel to the various locations where our challenge quilts are displayed. Please write your name on the dowel. Make sure that the dowel is long enough to span the width of your quilt, but is no more than 2 inches longer than your quilt. A dowel that is too long creates problems when hanging in a group and doesn't look very nice.
