RAFFLE TOTE WORKSHOP
Saturday, February 28, 2026 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Yankee Pride Quilts Classroom
Join us to create beautiful totes for the April 2026 CVQG Quilt Show basket/tote raffle fundraiser. All participants are invited to enjoy a day sewing together to produce a showcase Tote to be filled with gifts and raffled at the Quilt Show. Bring your own lunch, drink, sewing machine, thread. 2-3 Tote patterns will be available from simple to more complex.
Simple materials to bring or purchase at Yankee Pride:
Generally 1 1/2 yards of each:
Cut 2 Body - 18" x 18"
Cut 2 Lining - 18" x 18"
Cut 2 Straps - 3" x 25" or bring strapping
Cut 2 Fusible Fleece 18" x 18" (optional)
You can make your squares larger or smaller to suit your ideal tote bag. The seam allowance is 1/2" so the finished size will be 1" smaller than the squares you cut. Embellish however you wish. I'm making mine out of a Brooks Brothers men's shirt!

$10 Admission fee
